Since the iPhone X in 2017, the iPhone 14 will be Apple's most substantial design modification. Apple introduced the notch at that time, which serves two objectives. For starters, it houses Face ID, a 3D face recognition authentication system. Second, it provides the iPhone a distinct character, making the iPhone design instantly recognizable. Apple intends to make a significant change to the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max displays in 2022. According to reports, the iPhone 14 Pro models will ditch the notch in favor of a hole-punch display, which is popular on Android devices these days. And now there's a new report that appears to back up this design shift.
