The NASA X-59 supersonic jet has been spotted on its way to Texas.

The QueSST, built by Lockheed Martin's Skunk Works, is looking forward to a busy 2022. Skunk Works is presently transporting the experimental X-59 Quiet Supersonic Technology aircraft it is creating for NASA to its plant in Fort Worth, Texas, for structural testing ahead of a planned first flight next year.

The X-59 will be transported to its Texas plant for structural testing before being returned to the United States Air Force's Plant 42 in Palmdale, California, where it has been under construction since 2018. It will fly for the first time at the same location where the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter assembly line is located.
