With the air taxi market predicted to reach $14.7 billion by 2041, it's only natural that private flying automobiles will follow. Urban eVTOL is working on a sleek-looking flying automobile that it claims will reach top speeds of 250 mph (400 km/h) and have a range of close to 300 miles (483 km).
The LEO Coupe is a flying car being created by vertical propulsion systems expert Pete Bitar and supercar designer Carlos Salaff, who is most known for designing the Mazda Furai concept, among other things. Both have formed a new firm, Urban eVTOL, to develop new personal passenger aircraft that would allow anyone with enough money to profit from vertical takeoff and landing technologies from the comfort of their own home.
